Dan McKee is a lifelong Rhode Islander who proudly serves as the Ocean State’s 76th Governor. He began his career in public service on the Town Council in his hometown of Cumberland. After serving for eight years, he was elected Mayor. Following 12 years as Mayor of Cumberland, he left office in 2014 when he was elected Lieutenant Governor. He ascended to the Governor’s Office in 2021 and was re-elected to his first full term in office in 2022.
Refugee Dream Center (RDC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) post-resettlement refugee agency. Our approach is based on offering direct services to fill gaps in refugee resettlement, while also providing continuation of services to ensure refugee self-reliance and self-sufficiency. We offer direct services in the areas of adult education, employment, legal, case management services, youth support services, health promotion, language and access services, psychosocial support, food and hygiene products distribution, housing, and cash assistance to refugees. RDC is also a strong advocacy agency for the rights of refugees.
Witness Entertainment is a Latino-owned film company dedicated to breaking down barriers for people of color in Hollywood. The founder, Leo, is a first-generation Dominican-American who started his company after experiencing firsthand the lack of representation and opportunities for Latinos and other people of color in the industry. With a focus on producing diverse and inclusive content, Leo has quickly gained a reputation for discovering and nurturing fresh talent, bringing new voices to the forefront, and telling stories that reflect the rich diversity of our society.

She is an invested, passionate, and innovative leader focused on disrupting inequalities and injustice within schools and communities.
With over 15 years in education as a teacher, district-leader, and building administrator, she has been an advocate for racial and educational equity.

The Providence City Council is the fifteen-member legislative body of the city of Providence, Rhode Island.

The Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) is a state agency in Rhode Island that oversees the elementary and secondary education system from pre-Kindergarten through high school. It is headquartered in Providence. RIDE works closely with the Rhode Island Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner (RIOPC), the agency charged with overseeing higher education.
Together, RIDE and RIOPC aim to provide an aligned, cohesive, and comprehensive education for all students.
McAuley Ministries, based in Providence, Rhode Island, is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and rooted in the ideals of its founder, Catherine McAuley. Our ministry provides the basic needs of food, clothing, shelter, health services, emotional support and guidance to the most vulnerable in our community.
